Create a share in under a minute
Open the Create page, set the location, then submit to generate links.
You will get a public view link for attendees right away.
If you want to edit later, sign in with Google before creating, or sign in on this device after creating to claim the page.
Use address tools effectively
You can locate a point by address, by place suggestion, or by current location.
After setting coordinates, drag and refine on the map for better precision.
If your catchup is hard to find, add guidance text and map markup for entry direction.
Share links and management access
View links are public and read-only, and are intended for attendee access.
Anyone with a view link can open it, so avoid personal or sensitive details in shared notes.
Management is tied to your Google account, or to a same-device claim right after anonymous creation.
If you created a page anonymously and want ongoing control, sign in on the same device and claim it before you lose local access.
Edit, expire, and delete
Open the edit page from your account to update notes, location, and expiration.
Expiration can be set to 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days.
Deleting a share removes public visibility and should be used for outdated or incorrect locations.
Something not working?
If the map does not load, try refreshing the page or checking your internet connection.
If editing fails, make sure you are signed in to the Google account that owns the page, or claim it on the same device where you created it.
If a link appears unavailable, it may have been deleted or expired.
Operational best practices
Publish a final confirmation message with the exact view link shortly before the catchup.
For large events, test the link on both mobile and desktop before distribution.
Keep sensitive personal details out of shared notes whenever possible.
